2engage drama was formed in the summer of 2004. Their shared ambition was to create a unique and high quality drama group that pioneered engaging content for all audiences.
2engage passionately believe drama is an extremely powerful tool that helps the participant understand and experience a situation.

Background Info
Phil, originally from Leeds, finished his A-Levels and studied Single Honours Theatre Studies at Chester University. After graduating he completed his PGCE in further and Higher Education. His interests include football, other sports and music. Especially interested in the comedy aspects of Theatre in particular Stand Up Comedy as Brechtian Performance and Boal's Theatre for Change. Marcus, originally from the sunny spa city of Bath was part of The Keynsham Youth Theatre and the Bath Operatic Society. He moved north to Chester after doing A-levels and studied a Combined Honours Degree in Performance and Media Technology at the University of Chester. Interests include: Rugby, Skiing and socialising. Recommendations include: DV8 - 'Enter Achilles' and Carlo Goldini's 'Servant to Two Masters'. Ed, from Haslington near Crewe finished his A-Levels at Sandbach Boys School and moved on to Chester University to Study Theatre Studies and Computer Science. His interests include most Sports and Graphic Design He is especially interested in 'total theatre', the collective works of Stephen Berkoff, physical theatre and mime. Recommendations are Stephen Berkoff - 'Tell Tale Heart', Rambert - 'Anatomica #3' and DV8 -'Strange Fish'

Having worked extensively in further education teaching performing arts - B'Tec, A'level, special needs and youth groups; Jane developed an interest in community based projects and educational drama - taking students away from the cosy confines of "the theatre" and into the unpredictable wider community and non-theatre venue.
