Working with Business's who Support local Communities

UK businesses have to consider the economic, social and environmental impacts of their activities, wherever they operate.

Businesses have a responsibility to involve themselves in projects that support local communities. Corporate Social Responsibility is closely linked with the principles of Sustainable Development, which argues that enterprises should make decisions based not only on financial factors such as profits or dividends, but also based on the immediate and long-term social and environmental consequences of their activities.

We are passionate about the impact our work has on communities and have constantly strived to develop our community based projects. Working with the support of local organisations and businesses we want to form creative partnerships where we help businesses deliver community based projects.

Chester Tourism Board

2engage were approached by Chester Tourism to create an original piece of drama for the chester Ghost walks. For the past 2 years the group have been an integral part of the tourist experience that attracts thousands of tourists each year. The group Implemented an interactive performance that runs continuously over a 2 night event, using a mixture of comedy and sharp wit to entertain an audience of families, tourists, and local businesses.

Heather Brennan, Tours Organiser, Chester City Council

"2engage have worked with us for the past couple of years providing a series of fun performances as part of our annual Halloween Event. The team came along with a very professional attitude and were extremely flexible, working brilliantly to our requirements. 2engage provided added interest and humour suitable for all ages and the event was a huge success, enjoyed by everyone involved. I'm sure we will be working with them again in the future."

Chester Business School - Leisure and Tourism

We created an Interactive workshop for the Chester Travel and Tourism Department. Using Boal techniques; the group used fictional characters and scenarios to debate the issue surrounding packages holidays and the effects of tourism on local economies.

The workshop used drama techniques to visualise the problems, the staff were then invited to take on roles and to work through the issues from a variety of perspectives. Using drama techniques in this context enables issues to be brought to life in a fun and interactive way.
