2engage Drama Group on Education;
'2Educate, 2entertain' is to the motto of 2engage.
Education is the main reason 2engage drama was set up. We have vast experience in working in a variety of educational set ups. From primary behavioral support units to secondary's and further education and Higher education institutions.
Drama breaks down barriers in education and allows all students to succeed. 2engage have adapted their work for foreign speaking over sea students, special needs schools and students/adults with Autism and learning difficulties.
That's why drama works, it's inclusive and it's for everyone.
Arts Mark Award
- The arts award encourages young people to enjoy and take part in the arts, now and throughout their lives.
- It promotes achievement in the arts among people
- It provides opportunities for collaborative work and leadership that will promote young peoples broader personal development
- It helps young people to find progression routes in the arts
- It encourages new arts forms, innovation and experimentation
Marcus Lyon, artistic director of 2engage will be the advisor for the young people in the Northwest supporting them through the process.
To gain the bronze and silver award the young people will participate in different art forms, discuss arts practice, attend artistic events and create work to share with peers and the community.
